Fantasia
Fest
June 5-7, 2009
While predominantly a fantasy/action/horror festival, Fantasia
has always embraced films whose sheer individuality puts them
in a genre of their own. If you’re not sure whether
your film is right for us, consider that we’ve showcased
everything from captivating dramas (ASHES OF TIME, JULIET
IN LOVE…), eccentric comedies (MY SASSY GIRL, GHOST
WORLD…), provocative documentaries (POPAGANDA, GODS
OF TIMES SQUARE…), mind-blowing experimental works (among
other highlights, Fantasia held the Canadian Premiere of PI),
even atypical children’s films (CATNAPPED, IRON GIANT…).
In other words, set our minds’ eyes on fire and we
will do everything possible to get your film presented at
our event. Please browse our website to have a better understanding
of our programming.

Comic-Con
International Independent Film Festival
July 23-26, 2009
In 2008, for the first time in its history, Comic-Con sold
out in advance. That’s right—the show saw record
attendance, with every membership—both four days and
single days—all sold before the Convention Center doors
even opened.
Comic-Con will sell no memberships at the door in 2009;
the only way you can attend the show is to buy your membership
in advance. So lock in those memberships now while they're
still available!
