Exhumed Films
Films shown regulary

Exhumed Films is the brainchild of four friends from the New Jersey/Philadelphia area: Dan Fraga, Joseph A. Gervasi, Harry Guerro and Jesse Nelson. The quartet, all of whom are now in their late-twenties or early-thirties, used to bemoan the fact that monster movies had all but disappeared from the big screen. They dreamt of a local theatre that would hold a midnight showing of their favorite horror films; since no one in the area seemed to be organizing such an event, they decided to take it upon themselves....

Location: Philadellphia, PA

Grindhouse Film Festival Los Angeles
Films shown regulary

The monthly Grindhouse Film Festival events feature the screening of rare 35mm prints of cult and exploitation films from the 1960’s through the 1980’s, many of which have not been publicly shown since the drive-in’s and inner city grindhouse theaters faded away twenty years ago.

For the low price of only $7.00, attendees get two rare films, a reel of rare exploitation trailers, a free raffle, and very often appearances by the directors, cast and crew of the films being shown.

From John Carpenter to Dario Argento to Lucio Fulci, this diverse film series offers it's audience a joyful jolt of terror and nostalgia. You'll likely find yourself screaming and applauding in the same breath. Before long, you'll be joining the thousands of people who have whispered in the dark to their friends, "Did you ever see the one where....?"
